On September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day of reflection, learning, and ceremony is being hosted by the Barrie Native Friendship Centre (BNFC) and Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin Primary Care Team to honour those who have been impacted by residential schools. All are welcome to join in reflection, offer a prayer, share stories, learn and heal together as a community.

The day will start with a Sunrise Ceremony at 6am and will include a Sacred Fire, information booths and displays, storytelling, knowledge sharing, song, and a Memorial Walk. View the schedule below.
