New Process for Building Compliance Letter Requests

The process for submitting Building Compliance Letter Requests has changed. Effective March 3, 2026, Building Compliance Letter requests can be made through the APLI portal (an account is required). 

How to Request a Compliance Letter: 

  • Log in to APLI (eservices.barrie.ca)
  • Select "Submit an Application"
  • Choose "Compliance Letters"
  • Complete the application
  • Securely submit payment via credit card

Receiving your Compliance Letter: 

  • Your Building Compliance Letter will be delivered as a PDF attachment via email within 15 business days of payment.
  • Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive it.
