Marina parking permits are available exclusively to City of Barrie Marina slip renters and are issued digitally.
Permits can be purchased online at any time through the HotSpot parking app or website. There is no need to visit the Marina office or display anything in your vehicle. Your licence plate serves as your permit, so please ensure it is entered correctly and clearly visible when parked.
With a valid Marina parking permit, slip renters can park free in the following lots:
- Marina Lot
- North Marina Lot
- Simcoe Street Lot
- Spirit Catcher Lot

How to Purchase
Marina parking permits are available exclusively to Marina slip renters for $100+ HST annually. Slip renters can purchase a digital permit through the HotSpot parking app or website.
Slip renters receive an email from HotSpot with the subject "You have been added as a HotSpot Moderated Permit User" at the beginning of each marina season (or if a new renter, when you registered your slip at the marina) that will include instructions on purchasing the digital parking permit.
