Located at the base of Bayfield Street (44°23'12.6"N 79°41'17.6"W), Barrie's transient marina can hold 50 boats between 16- and 100-feet long. Features include a floating dock system, updated electrical and fresh water infrastructure, enhanced lighting and a new marina office. The Transient Marina closed for the season on October 20, 2024.
The current transient docking fee is $2.10 per foot per night or $10.50 per foot per week. Please refer to the Fees By-law (see Schedule L).
Did you know? The Transient Marina uses trash-trapping technology called a Seabin, which draws in water and debris. The mesh catch bag within the bin retains the debris while the water is pumped back into the Marina. The bin can capture 3.9 kilograms of trash per day or 1.4 tons per year, including plastics over 2mm. Learn about more trash-trapping technology.
