Books, Baseball & Giving Back with Local Author Angela S. Doyon
Looking for a fun family outing this Saturday? Join local author Angela S. Doyon and Betty Bear Books at the Barrie Baycats game for an afternoon of baseball, books, and community spirit.
Visit Angela's booth to pick up a signed copy of her children's picture book, Baseball for Mummies. For every copy sold during the event, $5 will be donated to help send a deserving child to Barrie Baycats Summer Baseball Camp.
The Barrie Baycats Summer Baseball Camp gives local children ages 5 to 14 the opportunity to spend a week learning from current Baycats players while building confidence, developing their skills, and fostering a lifelong love of the game.
Gates open at 2:30 p.m., with first pitch at 4:08 p.m. Enjoy an exciting afternoon of family-friendly baseball, meet a local author, and support a great cause.
Best of all, children 12 and under receive free admission to the game.
Bring the whole family, cheer on the Barrie Baycats, discover a new favourite book, and help make a young player's summer unforgettable.
