Shodo, Japanese Calligraphy

Experience Shodo, Japanese calligraphy!  It is a traditional Japanese art that uses a brush, ink, and paper.  It is a mindful activity that focuses deeply on the movement of the brush, and the moment that you live.  
What you will do on the workshop includes:
Introduction to Shodo : Learn about how Shodo is practiced in Japan.
Learn the basics : Start with setting your posture and holding the brush.
Practice basic strokes : Make simple lines and dots. 
Create your masterpiece : Write a meaningful word or your name to take home.
