The City’s Licence 2 Ride is offered to youth aged 12–16 and provides the chance to ride for free on Barrie Transit & play for free at the City's three main recreation centres.
The Licence 2 Ride (L2R) Pass is intended to build future transit riders through education and familiarity of the system, along with motivating a healthy lifestyle by providing access to Recreation facilities and programming. The L2R pass permits free unlimited use on Barrie Transit and access to drop-in recreation programs at any of the three main recreation centres.
