About the Proposed Development

A Zoning By-law Amendment application has been approved to facilitate the development of a 6 storey residential building containing 114 units for rental tenure. 

The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment re-zones the subject lands from ‘General Commercial’ (C4) and General Commercial with Site Specific Provisions (C4)(SP-264) to ‘Mixed Use Node 1 – Special Provision, Hold’ (SP-689)(H-173).  Special provisions include permission for a fully landscaped frontage, increased parking lot coverage, reduced parking standards and no commercial uses.

A Site Plan Control application has been submitted and is under review to approve the proposed design of the new residential building and associated site works.
