About the Proposed Development

A Site Plan Control application (D11-023-2021) has been submitted to develop the site in accordance with the  Residential Multiple Second Density with Special Provisions (RM2)(SP-569) zone granted by By-law 2019-064 for the property municipally known as 750 Mapleview Drive East. The project is intended to integrate in principle with the lands to the west that are currently under development, formally known as 700 Mapleivew Dr. E. which are under the same ownership.  The concept is proposed to include 7 blocks of townhouses for a total of 81 units, an amenity area, and a private road linkage to the property to the west.

To permit condominium tenure, a Draft Plan of Subdivision (D30-025-2021) is required.  The Plan will create a block for development, and blocks dedicated to the City for environmental protection and the road allowance required for the future reconstruction of Mapleview Dr. E.
