About the Proposed Development

Two proposed 12-storey residential buildings (348 units total) and 132 back-to-back townhomes including three-storey (96 units) and four-storey (36 units) units representing 480 total residential units fronting on Yonge Street.

The proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law seeks to modify the applicable former Town of Innisfil Zoning "Residential Private Serviced" zone to "Neighbourhood Mix Use" within the City of Barrie Comprehensive Zoning By-law. Special provisions are proposed to reduce the required lot frontage for some townhomes, and address deficient front, side and rear setbacks. 

Additional special provisions may be required as the application is formalized after the neighbourhood meeting.
