About the Proposed Development

​Proposal: The applicant proposed to amend the zoning of the subject lands from ‘Residential Single Detached Dwelling First Density’ (R1) to ‘Residential Single Detached Dwelling Unit Second Density’ (R2). If approved, the re-zoning would facilitate the submission of a Consent Application to the Committee of Adjustment for the severance of the subject lands for the creation of a new residential lot at the corner of Arbour Trail and Cox Mill Road. The application proposes to retain the existing dwelling of the subject lands, along with the construction of a new single detached dwelling on the proposed severed lot.

The Zoning By-law Amendment Application will be considered by City Council prior to the submission of a Consent (Severance) Application to the Committee of Adjustment.
