Additional Residential Units - What you need to know

Thinking of creating an Additional Residential Unit (ARU) on your property? If so, this event is for you! Come join experts from the City of Barrie's Planning and Building teams to learn more. City staff will provide information about:

• Planning: zoning and additional residential unit eligibility and standards 
• Building: building permit and inspection requirements for second suites (i.e., inside the home) and detached additional residential units (i.e., a separate unit on the property)
• Financing: available ARU funding options
