About the Proposed Development

The Zoning By‐law Amendment Application rezoned the subject lands from ‘Agricultural General’ (AG) to ‘Neighbourhood Mixed Use - Special’ (NMU)(SP‐XXX) with site-specific provisions, to permit the development 1,029 residential units in the form of three 6-storey and two 3-storey multi-residential buildings and 10 townhouse units, together with 1,281 square metres of ground floor commercial space along Yonge Street and underground and surface parking. 

Applications for a Draft Plan of Subdivision and Site Plan Control have been received.  The DPS application seeks to create a total of four (4) blocks to facilitate the development and create a road.  The development blocks are subject to site plan control.  The Site Plan Control Application seeks approval for the first phase of development which comprises two (2) residential apartment buildings ranging in height from three (3) storeys to six (6) storeys and a total unit count of 423 residential units.
