This Neighbourhood Meeting is your first opportunity to hear about a proposed development from the applicant, understand the City’s planning approval process and timelines and give you the chance to ask questions. This is a preliminary meeting to provide residents with information before the application is reviewed by City staff and considered by City Council. A Statutory Public Meeting will be scheduled at a later date, in accordance with the Planning Act.

Piveon Developments is seeking input from the public on a proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law for lands known municipally as: 145 Bradford Street and 48 Ellen Street in the City of Barrie.

The proposal is intended to facilitate a future, mixed-use development that comprises a 10-storey podium with five towers ranging in height from 45 to 55 storeys. The development proposes to create a total of 1,582 residential units, including 316 affordable units and ground floor commercial uses.

This neighbourhood meeting will be held in a virtual forum with electronic participation via ZOOM. To participate in the virtual neighbourhood meeting, you will need access to a computer with internet service or a telephone.
