When required, the City's Official Plan and Zoning By-law can be amended through a public process. The goals of this process are to assess whether the proposed amendment is in line with the long-term vision and goals for how our community should grow, and to ensure members of the public who may be affected by the proposed amendment have an opportunity to voice their views on the matter.
How to Apply
Apply online through APLI and/or submit the relevant PDF forms, which include submission details:
- Official Plan Amendment and/or Zoning By-Law Amendment (including Removal of Hold)
- Pre-Consultation Request Form: Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-Law Amendments Plan of Subdivision/Condominium
- Cost Recovery Form*
- Owner Authorization – Property Owner Consent*
*These forms cannot be submitted through APLI. Applicants can submit all other forms through APLI.
