About the Proposed Development
A rezoning from Agricultural General to Open Space (OS), Residential (R5), Neighbourhood Mixed Use (NMU), and Institutional Education (I-E) to permit the development of 839 residential units, one neighbourhood park, one elementary school, and one high density mixed-use block.
Summer 2024 Update
The First Phase of the Subdivision has been Registered, which included 380 residential lots (139 Single Detached, 241 Townhouse). The applicant is now proposing to include new lands in the subdivision and requires a Zoning By-law Amendment and Revision to a Draft Approved Plan of Subdivision
The Zoning By-law Amendment Application proposes to rezone the northern portion of the subject lands from Agriculture General (AG) and Environmental Protection (EP) to Neighbourhood Residential (R5) and Environmental Protection (EP).
The proposed Red Line Revision to the Draft Approved Plan of Subdivision is intended to request approval to include the additional lands to the north for the purposes of stormwater management, environmental protection and to create 20 additional residential lots, for a total of 751 residential lots.
