(April 6, 2019) The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has lifted the Boil Water Advisory issued to the City of Barrie for the Yonge St. and Big Bay Point Rd. area on Friday, April 5. Laboratory test results have confirmed that the water is free from contamination and is now safe to drink. See media release.

The City is committed to ensuring the supply of safe drinking water that protects public health and the environment.
