City of Barrie Theatres manages the Georgian Theatre, a professional performing arts facility on the Georgian College campus, and the downtown Five Points Theatre, presented by Pratt Homes & Pratt Development and including the Park Place Theatre.

Box Office

The Box Office for BOTH theatres is located at the Five Points Theatre, 1 Dunlop Street West (Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12 noon – 6 pm; Saturday, 11am–5pm). A box office at the show venue is open one hour before the performance until intermission for ticket purchase and pickup. View upcoming shows.

Tickets & Gift Certificates

Tickets and gift certificates can be purchased online, in person at the box office, and by phone. Please note: ALL patrons attending the theatres must have a ticket, including infants.

Accessibility

The Georgian Theatre and Five Points Theatre are accessible. Please note that there are multiple stairs in Georgian and Five Points Theatres that can be an obstacle for wheelchairs and walkers. Please call or visit the Box Office in advance to purchase tickets for accessible seating.

Booking

To book the Georgian Theatre or Five Points Theatre, please call 705-739-4228 or email theatres@barrie.ca. The theatres can be booked ONE year in advance.

Dance studios booking the Georgian Theatre in May and June: The Georgian Theatre is booked ONE year in advance on the first day of the corresponding month (ie. May 1, 2018 to book dates in all of May 2019). To book, please CALL 705-739-4220 x5593 on the first day of the corresponding month (March 1, April 1, May 1 or June 1) and leave a voicemail message. The dates are accepted at 9 a.m. by the TIMESTAMP AT THE END OF THE MESSAGE on the voicemail. Please leave a brief and concise message with the dance studio and the first, second and third choice of dates. Voicemails will be collected and recorded by its TIMESTAMP. Messages before 9 a.m. will not be counted.

The Georgian Theatre is a professional performing arts facility on the campus of Georgian College in Barrie’s north end and is managed by the Department of Culture. The fully equipped theatre is also available for non-theatrical activity including seminars, workshops, presentations and conferences.

Parking

See Georgian College Parking Map. Parking lots #14 and #16 are closest to the theatre. Parking within gates (PG) is $7 before 7 p.m. and $5 after 7 p.m., payable by coins only upon exiting the gates. Metered parking is $4/hour.

Exit Hwy 400 at Duckworth Street: take Duckworth Street to Bell Farm Road, drive east along Bell Farm Road into the Georgian College Campus.

Barrie's Five Points Theatre, presented by Pratt Homes & Pratt Development and including the Park Place Theatre, is a world class facility conveniently located in Barrie's downtown and managed by the Department of Culture. The fully equipped theatre is available for professional theatre, music, dance and non-theatrical activities including seminars, workshops, presentations and conferences.
