Thanksgiving Day: Affected Services & Reminders

The following City of Barrie services are affected on the Thanksgiving Day holiday:

• There is no Barrie Transit service on Monday, October 13. 
• Recreation/community centres are closed on Monday, October 13. 
• City Hall is closed on Monday, October 13. 

Service Reminders

• There is no change to the curbside collection schedule on Monday, October 13; curbside collection occurs as regularly scheduled.
• Downtown parking (on-street and lots) is free on statutory holidays. Waterfront parking, and parking in the hybrid and marina lots, is enforced 24/7/365. To park for free in select waterfront areas, vehicles must be registered with a digital waterfront parking permit.
