This item can be disposed of at the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Facility at the Barrie Landfill Site at 272 Ferndale Drive North on Saturdays from 8:30am - 3:30pm. The City's Recycling Depot (open during warmer weather months only) also accepts HHW on Saturdays. Hazardous waste must not be placed curbside for collection or poured down the drain.

Halogen bulb recycling is available to Barrie residents free of charge at the the Barrie Landfill Site (272 Fernalde Drive North).
