The City encourages property owners to join the Pre-Authorized Payments Plan for a convenient, worry-free and secure way to pay property taxes. Or, to avoid lineups at Service Barrie, use one of the alternative payment options.
The PAP plan authorizes the City to automatically withdraw funds from the bank account you designate to make tax payments. There is not a surcharge for this method of payment. Additional charges that fall outside of the regular tax installment schedule such as supplementary and or omitted property tax bills can not be paid through this program. If you do not pay these additional charges separately, you will be removed from the program and returned to the regular tax installment due dates.
Withdrawals will be made on the due dates indicated on the interim and final tax bills
