Change to Pre-Authorized Withdrawal Dates for Final Property Tax BillsDue to COVID-19 emergency measures, final property tax bills were completed and mailed by July 3, 2020, with installment due dates of August 31 and October 30. Since the tax bills were mailed later this year, accounts on a monthly pre-authorized payment (PAP) plan did not have a June payment. For 2020, if you are on a monthly PAP plan one sixth of the final billing amount will be withdrawn on the last business day of each month from July to December 2020 inclusive.
The PAP Plan authorizes the City to automatically withdraw funds from the bank account you designate to make tax payments. There is no surcharge for this method of payment.
Withdrawals will be made on the due dates indicated on the interim and final tax bills
YES - Enrolment is permitted throughout the year. If your cheque and application are received by the 15th of the month, your withdrawal can begin at the end of that month.
