The City partners with HotSpot to streamline parking within Barrie’s paid parking areas. Together, we provide convenient parking options. While we encourage everyone to use this app, all existing parking payment methods (pay stations, meters) remain available.
Availability
HotSpot is available to download from Google Play and App Store. The HotSpot parking app is available to use for:
- Hourly parking in City-owned paid parking areas within the downtown, waterfront, and Gallie Court / Quarry Ridge
- Downtown parking permits
- Waterfront parking permits
- Allandale residential parking permits
No App Required at Waterfront Parking Areas & Collier Street Parkade
QR code signs are located near each pay sign at waterfront parking areas and the Collier Street Parkade. QR code signs allow smartphone users to pay for parking by scanning the sign’s code. No HotSpot app needed. Learn more about QR code signs under Benefits & Features.
